Apply PUPP by PC or by hand?

For Christmas, I gave my father a detail for his black 1997 BMW 740iL.



So far I have applied DACP by PC with cutting pads (2hrs.), P21S GEPC by PC with polishing pads (50 min.), and then Platinum Ultimate Pre-Cleaner by PC with polishing pads (50 Min).



The car at this point looks great. All the steps are definitely worth it. I must say, at this point the car looks great with no sealant or wax layer at all.



Let me know if you guys think there is an advantage to applying the PUPP with a PC and a finishing pad or by hand with a yellow foam pad.

I've applied it both ways. The only benefit of applying UPP by PC is the time you save durring application. The appearance is exactly the same from my experience.

I will apply it with the PC then. Then I will put a P21S topper on tomorrow. I will take pics after the UPP and then with the P21S.
