APC versus APC+ ?

I have been looking into getting some APC, even got the catalog from Meguiars. I need some advice on which one to get. From what I can tell the APC+ is more dilutable but it doesn't contain butyl. The reason I am interested in butyl is that in a post on chemistry it was stated that when butyl is added to a water-based cleaner it makes it more effective on oils (which sounds better for engine cleaning). On the other hand it doesn't appear that APC should be used for carpets like APC+. Am I making this more confusing than it should be? I feel like I want to have my cake and eat it too!!

Solution: Buy both, test both on inconspicuious areas, If safe, move on to testing on larger areas, decide which you like, and post the results here for us!!! Then sell the one you disliked on Ebay. Then you can have your cake and eat it too :)

I've used APC+ on engines and it cuts through oil/grease no problem. I also use APC+ on carpets and I think it works great. Therefore, APC+ is my vote.

I'd second Greg's vote. Though, if you don't care about cleaning carpets and other interior surfaces, APC or Super-Degreaser is probably a better buy for you. So, it depends on what you want the product to do.

That said, APC+ does do a very good job on engines and such, though it does require some agitation or possibly a pressure washer. And it does a great job on carpets.
