APC or Tire, or rim cleaner?

Does everyone here use Wheel and/or Tire cleaner or an APC to get dirt off of those areas (before dressing tires, etc.)?



I picked up some Megs Tire Shine and it says it cleans also, but i'm sniffing BS, I know you need to start with a clean surface(tire).



Specific product suggestions welcome!

A good OTC product is Eagle 1 Wheel and Tire Cleaner:

When using this on tires I use a tire brush to scrub lightly and then rinse.

I use Westley's Bleech White on tires.

If you mean Meg's APC it works well ( 1:10) but you still need to go after the stubborn stains with a brush.The best IMHOis the eagle one :2thumbs: see link in the post above.Can't seem to find it around anymore though, hope it's still in production. The fumes will make your eyes water but damn it works.Good on bathroom tiles too.

This is what i use also,and megs APC if tires and wheels aren't too bad, Megs WB 4:1' EO Wheel and tire cleaner is an exactly product..

I just picked up a gallon of DG AWC - Haven't used it yet, but as with all of there products, i'm sure its quality.
