Anyone watch Jersey Shore on MTV?

Nah, you gotta say it like Flava Flav. "WAAAAOOOOOWWW". Yes, I do run into it when scanning through channels. I never get into "reality shows", but humor myself time to time by watching it for 10mins. I mean, really, who can't have a good laugh at Guidos in their natural habitat? It's like Discovery for teens!

Wrote to you a while ago. Have watched the show and I think it is a negative stereotype of Italians. The sub-titles are a sad embarassment. I feel the same way about any show that gives people the wrong impression of a particular group.

This show provides a view into a small sect of people living in the metro Northeast of the US.



In Italy, nobody is like this. Heck, I feel a tourist in Times Square when I'm there.

"Schnooki" is amazing. How does a 4 foot tallm orange coloredm oompa-loompa looking thing get pounded in her grill two times in one week, then show up on Leno!



Jenny "Bow-Wow" likes to throw fists in the clubs also. Got to love a chick that fist fights and always looks like she needs a shower. Yum!



Sammy "Snakeface" likes to antogonzie drunk fat guys on the boardwalk into violent rages. Yet another endearing quality for a woman.



The cast isn't 100% Italian for all the "haters".



Its like a bad car wreck, you have to watch!
 
I saw this show for the 1st time when my daughter was home from college for x-mas break... obviously it was my daughter that put it on...



Like has been said, it is a trainwreck... Even though I tried to keep my head burried in my computer, I found myself watching the show and just shaking my head in disbelief...



I am 1/2 Italian and I still found it funny....Crazy W.O.P.S....lol
 
Yeah, Hollywood has run out of stereotypes they can make fun of, the next one on the list was the Guidos. The show is entertaining, but its pure trash.
