curious to know how you like it? right now I have a porter cable 7424 and a dewalt dw849.... i'm more curious to know how the dw443 compares to the pc7424, i can see the obvious differences in power. let me know what you think of yours, i have been nothing but satisfied with every dewalt product i've owned and i was thinking of adding this to the tool box.

I've had my 443 for years and I'm happy with it. I only have two complaints so far: I can't change the backing plate, and it's a little noisier than the pc 
i'm sure it's still quieter than the dw849. how well does it remove light scratches? i really do not like cutting with foam pads using the porter cable... just doesn't quite do the job right..... but it sure does a great job polishing. I want to use the dw443 for getting the lighter scratches out that don't require the rotary buffer. i need an in between buffer and it sounds like this is the one. anyone else care to share their thoughts?
