Anyone using Clay Pad and PC/Flex for claying

Personally - I wouldn't use one of those. I think claying is something that you need to "feel" while you're doing it. not even to mention if something gets in or on the clay - well, then you've marred (or scratched) the surface. Just personal reservations.

Since you are using one, my suggestion to keep the clay in would be to go as slow as possible with the PC. Maybe lump two clay bars together so they fill the hole in the pad up more.

By the time you break out the PC, extension cord, clay holder, and set it up you could have done half the hood (or more) by hand. Sometimes a machine is not the best way to do things, this is one of those instances. Also if the PC slings a full clay bar out and it hits the ground ........it's a goner.

Thanks guys that was what I was thinking its basically worthless. I tried it once and havnt had it out since, lost a whole bar of clay.
