I haven't used either - car just repainted so no need, yet. However, I think most, if not all, Duragloss paint products are formulated for hand application. Feel free to give them a call, they are very friendly and helpful.
I used PC-2 by hand kind of as a pre wax cleaner. Their web site should include a little more technical information than it has, not very helpful. I'm not sure how abrasive it really is or if the abrasives would break down with the PC (ie: diminishing abrasives). It seems more like a chemical cleaner to me with VERY mild abrasives.
I have used the SMR with a PC...it is a very lite product....micro abrasives...not for real correction..mostly for lite towel marring and buffer swirls...it does work a long time and finishes up nice...leaves the paint nice and smooth and glossy...it is yellow and a banana kinda scent...it may even have a filler..as it did leave the paint nice looking...did not do wipe with alcohol..just used fast clean and shine and then bonding agent...
also no dusting..and sorta a little tuff to remove so I used fast clean and shine to remove ...
I never used the PC-2....but was told it has a tri abrasive structure...what ever that is...and both have chemical cleaners also...some have used it by hand and said it worked good...but should work with a PC no problem...
