Just curious if anyone has tried Pinnacle Signature Series Wax?

I have received a jar as a gift and before I try it out, I am curious to see how it compares to S100/P21S, especially on lighter, metallic colors? If you have tried PSS wax, please post your results!

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,

NozeBleedSpeed,

Thanks for the input! :xyxthumbs

I will give it a try on my titanium silver metallic Bimmer and let you know how it came out.

Agreed! I just bought Souveran Paste on sale.

My folks just bought a metallic grey BMWxi (new color for 2004) and it sounds like this sig. series would look awesome on it!

However, to be quite honest, I think we are all buying into this hype of marketing various Souverans for different types of paint. Geeky Steve, a knowledgable and honest fella, did his Wax Guru report and indicated (if I remeber correctly) no real difference between Paste Glaze and Souveran.

It reminds me of wine tasting - it's so subjective with a tad of snobbery thrown in there! My father collects wine and I listen to him talk about all the flavors and aromas and it reminds me of all the descriptions of s100 compared to Signature compared to liquid Souveran etc...

You know what? Put them all on a section of a trunk and I bet you most can't tell the difference and will resort to guessing.

Not to start a flame war, but would you guys agree? Or disagree! Just making an honest remark.

Don't get me wrong, I'll buy Signature for the sake of having it!! :D

I didn't notice a huge difference between Souveran and Paste Glaz. Souveran seemed a bit deeper looking on black and red but only us anal Autopians would notice it. The average person probably wouldn't.

Spilchy,

I think the more you know about wine and or wax the more you want to try different wines and or waxes. If it makes a certain car or color look it's best, then that is what should be used. :D Of course, this is from an Autopian point of view! :xyxthumbs

NozeBleedSpeed,

I agree with your "whatever works best is what should be used" philosophy! I will give Pinnacle Signature Series Wax a try tomorrow and post some pics when I have a chance.

Thanks to all who responded to this post and thanks for all of your frank, honest and insightful input! :)

Cheers,
