surf city's nano seal and glaze, for some reason, really interested me for the longest time, so i finally tried it, i had a pepboys giftcard, and drove about an hour to bear delaware, the nearest pepboys to me that carries surf city... i got the nano seal and glaze kit, leather conditioner, tire shine, and both of their quick detail sprays.. i figured id post my opinions on here for now because i want to wait until i have more experience with them to write a review.. i like the nano seal tho, it doesnt like to spread very much though, atleast not in my first time using it (yesterday)..i called their hotline and asked if it was really nessisary to leave for 24 hours, the guy said no, he never noticed a difference between 30 minutes and 24 hours, so i just left it for 45 minutes, it hazes like crazy, very white, so very easy to see where you missed when removing it. the gloss it leaves is awesome, typical klasse like gloss, not much depth, just a lot of nice crisp reflections on my freshly polished paint :-).. i didnt have time to use the nano glaze, because i had to come up here to PA, so ill write of my experience with that tomorrow probably.

my question to everyone is has anyone had any experience with any surf city garage products? there are basically no reviews for any of their products, a couple for their barrier reef carnuba, and thats about it... just curious on everyones opinion on the product line... im really interested to know if anyone has tried the nano seal and glaze.. i can post pictures tomorrow if anyone cares to see, once i get home and get the glaze on.. even tho its supposed to rain here the next 3 days :( any opinions anyone?

nobody has tried the "shine on" package? or just nano seal, or the glaze?? ive never really heard anybody say anything about either.. good, or bad

I have the Grime Destroyer and I like it a lot. Heard good things about the glass cleaner too. Next thing I will try will be that pink QD. Looks tasty.

I got the Barrier Reef wax, but I haven't tried it yet. Too many other LSP's (like Fuzion!) to try. :lol

I would like to see your pics with the Nano stuff. I'm thinking about getting some.

Mr. Dizzle, I've got a sampler pack and have tried most of the products included.

I like the tire shine a lot. The Road Trip Grime Destroyer has become an essential tool for me - - it's that good.

I've tried the Barrier Reef carnauba. You could hand the product to virtually anyone and they'd have a good result with it. Easy to work with - - easy to remove.

im looking forward to trying everything out now, glad i got more than just the shine on pack, which is origonally all i was going to get haha..ill be sure to post some pics later on today, should be home around 4 or 5, dont know how the weather is going to hold up, so they will either be garage pics, or beading pics lol. by the way i like the "mr. Dizzle", thats a new one for me  thanks for the feedback everyone.

Nice people and every single product that I used from them worked well. They are also cheaper then the rest

alright.. so the other day i polished my car, to get rid of he little bit of micromarring i had, i topped that with some meg's #26, a couple days later i got the surf city products listed earlier, and wanted to try the nano seal and glaze, so i washed the car with a strong mix of deep crystal, and some dawn several times, beading didnt change all that much, so i just dried it brought my car in the carage and applied the sealant.. i called surf city and they said nothing about needing to apply the sealant on an unwaxed surface... i left it sit 45 mins like i said. removed it, went to PA for 2 ish days, came home dusted and QD'd the car, then applied the glaze.. heres my results

ill post some beading pictures at some point in the next few days.. its supposed to rain and storm throughout the next couple days.. over an inch expected tomorrow..

oh yea, i forgot to tell you about slickness.. its AWESOME, up there with collinite 845, i gta say, this product is a nice suprize, the tire shine is really nice too, i put it on AFTER the first picture was taken... you can get a little on your hand, wipe it off with a papre toewl, and then theres no greasy feeling like most tire shines leave you with until you wash your hands a couple times..the pink QD is realle nice too, kinda smells like bubble gum haha... im liking the surf city products a lot so far:-)

The 2nd to last pic showed some good gloss. Did you feel or see a difference between just putting on the sealant and then the glaze later? I'm curious about the slickness of the vehicle after the application of the Nano Seal and also after the Nano Glaze.

Did you notice a different look after putting on the glaze? I know these things can be subtle and some people notice while folks like myself probably wouldn't. Just wondering if you did.

the sealant alone was a bit more... sealanty? lol, like klasse, crisp reflections, great gloss, not much depth... the nano glaze didnt really take anything away from the sealant, just added some depth that was previously missing... i did feel like the glaze muted clarity a bit.. but that could just be because of the crappy lighting conditions today, reguardless the car looks great, and im anxious to see how this stuff beads and sheets, and its lasting ability, although im sure ill tinker with it every couple days with QD after it gets washed as i always do.. im thinking about redoing the waxtest on my family beater cavalier's hood... to include this product.. im probably going to update that some time this week with all the rain

the difference was not night and day though.. just thought id include that.. subtle, like you said.. but it looks pretty darn good, so im not complaining.

no problem.. ive turned to this forum so many times for info, its nice to give back to everyone on here.. i dont know why there was basically no information on here or anywhere else for that matter about the "shine on" package.. its deffinatley a product worth trying
