I have a a coat or two of 476s only on my car right now. Its looking real good, just washed it up today. After reading through the hybrid wax thread, I figured I should try melting some s100 with the 476s. Well I did that, but now I'm wondering if anyone else has tried it, or even tried topping the 476s with S100?

I was going to put a coat or two of the hybrid and then a final coat of just s100.

What do yall think?

Well I just finished with doing that. It went on and came off extremely easy, a lot easier than straight collinite. I never tried s100 by itself before. I hope this doesn't indicate weak protection. I'll see how it looks outside tomorrow.

What other waxes have you tried? I thought Natty's Blue was easy to remove. Well S100 is even easier. Its crazy how easy it is to remove.

I want to see some pics :):woot:

Ok maybe I'll take a few pics when the sun comes back out.

I've never tried any other paste waxes. Just been using opti-seal lately. Also #26 sometimes.

Well it is overcast today and the pictures did not come out good at all. Also, the hood had some sort of resdue left on it. It almost looked like cloud reflections, but they were not reflections. I hit it with some z6 and it cleared up nice.

here are some pics. I'll try again if the sun ever comes back.

How did you go about melting the waxes together?

I just found this ceramic dish in the cabinits, cleaned it out a little bit. Then I put smallish chunks of each wax in the dish, then put that dish in a bigger pot with some water in the pot on the stove. So there was water surrounding the dish. Turned the stove on low and waited till it melted, then put it all in the fridge.
