I was thinking in ordering in some but wanted to hear some opinions first...

how do you compare it to Laser Buff/ SSR2.5?

cheers

I have it. It's like laserbuff, but without the fillers and polish.

I like it, but I'm a HUGE fan of Laserbuff... It's my fav. polish/medium swirl remover...

On the same token, since you're a fan of Chem guys, what do you think of their waxes? The paste carnuaba? Compared to say... NXT, Natty's Blue or S100...

thanks!

Blackntan: XXX Hardcore Paste Wax, a.k.a. Danase' Paste Wax is *very similar* (wink-wink) to white Natty's.

Corsa: Spider Buff has become my favorite swirl remover. Perfect aggressiveness, easy to use, finishes down beautifully, and I don't need to worry about fillers. As blackntan said, it's Laserbuff/SSR2.5 without the waxes/fillers.

Doesn't CG supply product to PB and adams for private label sale?

Hey Grouse,

How have things been? I switched over to Diet Cola recently and I already feel a few lbs lighter. Anyway, I just wanted to see how things were going.

Cheers,

There has been no "definitive" proof that PB and Adams = CG. It has been a sensitive subject around here, so what I recommend is that you get 16oz of each product that you think are similar, and try them side by side. You never know what you might find ;)

BlacknTan, XXX is quite nice, easy to use, smells good, etc. If you want, shoot me an email, and I can get a jar to you for a reasonable price. LMK...

On Topic: LazerBuff and Spider seem to have the same cut IME, YMMV, this is MHO, take it FWIW....

It was more of a question not a statement, I have pb stuff, and have seen some of adams line. but i have never compared them together.

Regardless, Find the best product for your need and use it.

Never saw it as a statement, I thought I was answering your question. :nixweiss No biggie...

:up Agreed

yeah, it's great if you don't want fillers. If i do, i just miz it with a little CG revive glaze. Increases the working time and leaves a great finish.

I've been around here long enough to know of the fire storm that the CG/PB/Adams debate causes, so I tend to take the "those who have eyes will see" approach. (lol) The "who makes what for whom" thing does peak my curiousity, but nowadays I just let sleeping dogs lay & enjoy the products lines from all 3. Each line is comprised of some really solid products that have worked very well for me. As for the "spider".....It's worked well on my black toyota paints' minor defects. (wash induced marring & the occaisional kitty cat "hey let's jump on the shiney truck" scratches) It does seem to dust a little, (learning curve/human error??) but finishes off nicely. As for the XXX Hardcore Paste Wax.......Gotta love it! And yes, it seems similar to Natty's. If you're a Natty's fan, you'll love XXX.

victory: that's a great idea mixing "spider" & "revive"!! I'll have to give that a shot soon. I'm still in the process of finishing off the VM/RMG (pink moose) bottle I created. ( thanks for the idea Scottwax!) This week, (while on vacation) I washed my truck with the CG Body Wash/Wax & Maxi Suds 50/50 mixture with a few capfulls of ONR (Maxi Wash?? lol) Dried off then QD'd with QuickShine. Applied a layer of "Pink Moose" by hand then applied a nice layer of Natty's Blue. I finished up with a final buffing of a light misting of #425 using my new found love.........The Monster Fluffy! The following day, I started off with a quick QD'ing of #425, then a thin layer of FX-100. Final buffed with #425. BAM!!! A deep, wet liquid pool of blackness! My black paint looks quite lickable.
