Anyone top Glazes with Sealants?

I am thinking about AIO/RMG/SG or UPP/p21

I have seen people mention topping RMG with wolfgang, EX-P , or UPP, but not SG.

Anyone top thier glaze with these sealants?

If so which ones, and what were the end results?

I have used UPP, Ex, EX-p, WG Sealants over Glazes such as VM, RMG, #7 and #81. These are less fussy over the sufaces they are used on and *should* bond, but it will ultimatley sacrifice the sealants durabilty. The looks though are fantastic.



Some products such as Klasse SG, Autoglym EGP and Zaino sealants will not bond at all over an oily surface. For these types I would not use an oily base and would use something like AIO or the relevant pre wax cleaner.



If you do go AIO/RMG use the UPP rather than the SG IMO.
