Anyone ship ONR at a decent rate?

As the Chicagoland fall begins to move in, it's getting to be a little cold to wash my car weekly. I decided to step into the ONR craze and have been online looking for it. Well, it's $15.99 just about everywhere, but shipping is $6-$8 everywhere, as well! Maybe it's just me, but I can't justify spending 40-50% of a product's cost just to get it shipped to me, especially when it's fairly small and lightweight. Is there anywhere that I can get ONR shipped for a reasonable price??

You're going to pay a lot in shipping at most online shops if you only place a small order like that. You have to be a smarter shopper by waiting to place one big order instead of several small orders if you want to offset the cost of shipping. To you and me, it might seem expensive to ship just a 32 oz bottle of product, but that's a 2 lb minimum package, so in reality it's not an unreasonable amount to ask for shipping and handling.

Trust me, I hate paying for shipping too which is why in the end, most of my business is given to Autogeek as they have the biggest product selection and to get free shipping, you only have to spend $75 (using the AGO code).

I agree with Black Elantra's comments. If you don't want to place a big (or $75) order, Pakshak has ONR and will ship whatever fits in USPS flat rate priority mail box. that can bring down the % of your cost going to shipping. (Link to site follows)

It's an imperfect world, but both Pakshak and Excel make an effort to keep their shipping reasonable. And if you live in the lower 48 states, there are always deals to be had that can eliminate shipping or lower any final cost .

Don't forget Danase or TopOfTheLine as they sell ONR too :)

Since the prices and shipping costs are pretty similar across the board, you might even consider the geographical location of the vendor as you might get your product(s) faster from one vendor vs. another.

Why not get a gallon instead? That should be enough ONR to wash your car once a week for the next two years. Plus, you can take 6 oz and add it to a gallon of water to make a pretty good QD and clay lube.

Scottwax and Spoiledman are right, ONR is awesome stuff, you'll likely never go back to traditional bucket/hose washing again, so stock up. Given the nasty Chicago winters I remember from my youth, you'll still probably want to break out the hose for the undercarrige and wheelwells in the spring. My Dad is coming down from Chi-town this week, I plan on showing him the wonders of ONR so he can wash his car this winter in his heated garage. He is still using Dawn, Turtle Wax, old bath towels and a hose, pretty "old school" huh?? later, Blain

Yeah I wanted to use the AGO code, but honestly I don't have $75 worth of stuff I need right now. Being 17 and having quit my job to spend more time on school/detailing/other hobbies, I don't really have an option. Well, I guess I'll just bite the bullet and fork it over for shipping. Danase is in a neighboring state, so I should get it very quickly through UPS ground. I'll just pretend I'm paying for next day shipping. =)
