Anyone remove ClearBra before?

I bought a CPO Audi A4 recently and it has had a ClearBra since it was new (3 years, ~50k miles ago). I'd like to remove it from at least the hood and the door mirrors, as the edging is stained and there are seams on the mirrors' ClearBra filled with dirt. I'm mostly concerned with paint fade and curious if anyone has been down that road. Thanks.

try rubbing alcohol on the edges that have dirt with a Q -tip, i buff clear bra with menzerna 106ff when cloudy comes out great , other than that, heat up film with hot water or a heat gun on low then pick and peel then remove film fully then residue with a prep solve,

the only problem could be if it was a repaint not properly painted and you will know quickly of the paint comes with the film. . i know it was a cpo car but bodywork can be hidden from audi & carfax by paying cash for repairs. . . be brave. . good luck most of my clients treat clear bra like a periodically replaced upgrade paint should be easily corrected if stained

Once you work an edge loose, pull at a 90* angle to the paint...This is supposedly the most effective way to remove it, but I pull at >90* (almost 180). As mentioned, you may be able to polish the CB (along with the rest of the car) to make it more appealing.
