Anyone know the difference

Anyone know the difference between these products. All Meguiar's

#3 Machine Glaze

#5 New Car Glaze

#7 Show Car Glaze

Speed Glaze

I know a lot of people have used #7 but has anyone used any of the others. If so, then what is your impression of them?

The #7 and #5 can be applied by hand, the #3 is obviously a machine glaze and speed glaze is abrasive. I don't know what the difference between the #7 and 5 are though.

I read an earlier thread that implied that BSP Speed Glaze is a cleaner wax-like product (I guess kind of like those other brand waxes with the word "glaze" in them). This seems to fit the product description:

...Meguiar’s Speed Glaze is a shortcut that cleans, polishes and protects in one simple step.

I've always wondered about #5 vs. #7 myself, and after reading the product descriptions it sounds like the #5 may be mildly abrasive because it can restore, while the #7 description sounds like it's all about the high gloss:

The specially formulated nutrients in Meguiar's New Car Glaze restore the deep, radiant shine that even brief environmental exposure can begin to strip from an automobile's finish.

I would guess the differences are subtle... It might be that #5 came out for shops that were looking for something a little easier than #7. Perhaps for new car prep where the finish is already really good, a product with slightly less gloss but easier to use is ok. This is just a guess, though.

According to Stuart Hicks, #7 has a very very mild abrasive content (similar to IHG) & #5 (new car glaze) has no abrasive content. But like Aurora said, I'm sure the differences are very subtle.
