Anyone have a brush recommendation?

To make a long story short, I've been using the Natural Tampico Upholstery & Carpet Scrub Brush for carpets.

After not being able to find where the wife hide the brushes for the house, I broke that one out to clean up a massive cat stain that she didn't tell me about. It's now stained a wonderful cat pee brown. The stain cost me a brush and it's still partially there (it'll come out eventually... with a lot of work.)

So, I figured that since I have to replace it I may as well see if there is something better to try.

Anyone have any suggestions for a brush to use for carpets?

I always use the Tuf Shine tire brush for carpet. It works great on pet hair, dirt and I have done light carpet stains with that and an upholstery cleaner.

I grew up detailing at my dad's used car lot using only this tire style brush. Works on everything from tires, white walls, raised whites, carpets, and is a beast on heavily soiled floor matts. I had one last 10 years. I'm not sure the manufacturer, but looks identical to tuf shine, except black bristles with tan handle.

This last fall I bought the same style brush from AG (black bristles, tan handle). It works very well.

The Tuf Shine Brushes have been on my Carts for years..
They have good clear nylon bristles, they are not too stiff, and as already been said, they work great on tires or carpeting..
Their handle is made at a very good angle for use..
They are not going to last forever, but are cheap enough for us to buy a few at a time..

While we are there, the cleaning sponges they make that have this black material on 1 side and their little orange applicator sponges are also excellent and I have lots of each...

Well, that's 4 for 4 on recommendations for the tuff shine tire brush/low profile tire brush so... looks like tuff shine wins. :D
