I am thinking of doing this combo but was wandering here if any has ever tried it or got any info on it or what you think?



1Z Metallic Polish

AIO

Liquid Souveran x3

Trade Secret x3

then alternate LS and TS

Megs Final Detail as a QD
 
it seems a bit overkill to me personally. I think the AIO would strip any of the oils from the MP and basically leave you with a wasted step (even though there may be SOME abrasives in MP IMHO they dont do much). SO 3x souveran+3x trade secret to me = wasted money on souveran and TS. With good surface prep there should be no need to use that much wax, that is just my opinion of course. Megs final detail is a nice QD in my book.



If you get the 6 coats of TS+Souveran take some pics for us to check out!

I see you have !z PP, MP, and UPP listed as your "currently using" Have you tried the PP, MP, then UPP combo yet? If you havent give it a shot I think you'll like it...maybe even throw a coat of TS or Souveran over it after 24 hours and see how it looks.

I was gonna use MP,UPP,LS,TS but I was afraid the oils in the MP would keep the UPP from bonding correctly. Do you or anyone else think the UPP would still bond to the MP?



As for your thoughts on the abrasive's in MP I couldnt agree more. This was the first time I ever used it and thought it was going to be something special but its now just a shelf ornement unless i just use it as a cleaner wax and I dont really think it will be even good for that because of the oils in it.
 
1z PP, AIO, LS, TS might be a better idea



except if it were me *I'd* substitute LS for SG or just cut that step out completely. Seems like overkill.
