Anyone ever try this...airduster+hair dryer

I did see that! One thing they forgot to mention is that it needs to be C2O (if I am not mistaken) and not just regular air. All I know is that I bought a can of it soon after just in case.

Makes sense though, because the hair dryer will make the metal hot and expand, and then when you spray what is basically sub-0 liquid on it, it will cause the metal to rapidly shrink. Leaving it to dry on a hot day (remember warm to hot day!) the metal will begin to expand again, and pop out. This is essentially the same idea as using Dry Ice.

I've seen that method work with dry ice too. Heat it up and then put dry ice on top and POP! out comes the dent. It only works on dents that a Ding King type device would work on anyway. It won't work on sharp creases or body line dents.

I didn't take the dent out 100%

You could have put your hand behind the dent and pushed and gotten the same effect.

I push dents every day and if it was this easy I would not be doing it for a living.

Modern paint is quite flexible. However it dose become brittle as it ages. The tempeture change is very extreme and don't know if it dose any damage. Obviously there was some expansion and contraction going on in the video.

If it's very cold I warm up the paint before pushing a dent out to reduce the risk of cracking the paint.
