Anyone ever put a glaze OVER a carnuba?

Curious because I tried a small section of my newly waxed (S100) black GN yesterday. Was polished and waxed on Sunday. I didn't see any difference, so I ended up throwing another coat of S100 followed by a QD. Curious if people have put glazes (Megs #7 in particular) over a carnuba and have seen a difference. I was hoping for a little more wet look. Maybe I already had it "wet" enough and there wasn't much more I could do?

TIA

I’ve never tried it that way as a Glaze contains fillers and (and oils that give a wet-look) but very little surface protection whereas Carnauba wax is only protection…once the wax set-up I think the oils in the glaze may start to degrade it (just guessing )

~Hope this helps~

Yeah I figured it was pointless because of the reasons you listed but after searches and reading about this glaze it seems people use it as a "quick" topper for car shows to give the car that super wet glossy look. Guess it didn't work for me or maybe it was because I had a coat of carnuba already on there. Just checking to see if people actually have done this

Thanks for the reply
