anyone ever order a crate motor from the states?

i know this isn't about detailing but i was just wondering if any of you fellow canadians have ever ordered a crate motor from the states? i am just curious about the duty fees. I would have no problems paying the GST because i wont have to pay the taxes on the motor its self but i dont know how much total fees to expect. The motor is about $5000 USD. Anyone have any thoughts or experience with buying large items like this and getting them shipped into the country?
