Anyone ever heard of AuriGold ?

LoL, I guess not. :) Their stuff just seems neat, was wondering what opinion you guys had. They are also starting to carry them at Auto Zone. :)

I remember seeing an "infomercial" for Auri a few years ago. They had this british "actor" singing the praises of Auri and how great it was...

"Look! you can light the car finish on fire and nothing will happen to it with Auri " ( they used lighter fluid on a warm car finish...the vapors from the fluid reached their flashpoint temperature quickly and were ignited by a lighter ..that's what burns, not the liquid of the fluid itself!...fire science 101)

"It brought this old faded finish back to looking new!"

"Not available in stores! Order now and you'll you a free, yes free, terry wiping towel...but wait, there's more! You'll get the Auri car wash, Auri vinyl and rubber shine and ANOTHER BOTTLE OF AURI for the amazing price of just $29.99! Call now, operators are standing by....."

Frankly, any quality car care product will sell itself on it's own merits, like Klasse, Zaino, Blackfire, Meguiar's, etc. They don't need to have people screaming in a 30 minute infomercial to get a true enthusiast to try their stuff!

I've never seen the ads. I just ran into it at the local auto shop and it peaked my curiosity. :) For the price though it better well, considering it was $14.99 for the bottle.

I was just curious if anyone actually used the stuff and what their personal experience with it was. :)

a friend of me just gave a packet with AURIGOLD (2XPOLYMER AUTO POLISH, VINYL AND LEATHER PROTECTANT AND CRYSTAL GLASS SHIELD ) and i am thinking of try them tomorrow on my car...Any recommendations??

Yeah, besides the fire trick, the one where they wipe the dust/dirt off the (previously fine) finish and bring it back to being...fine, was really amazing! Kind of like those commercials now for the bathroom rust removers where they wipe what looks like a rust stain (but obviously isn't) right off the demo tub.

Boy those were the (infomercial) days! Good thing we have more cable channels so we have more of a selection of (infomercials) at 2AM.

that means not to use it i guess...i think that has got some abrasives too.it is more a polish than a sealant i guess

Those were great commercials! They also had a cage full of pigeons over a car, for a whole show. The poop wiped right off..truly amazing!!
