I purchased this for drying the car. This work's beautifully. Very absorbant, never had to wring it out....just overall very happy with it.

Was wondering if anyone else uses this, and if not, what you use to dry your car after washing. Oh, I also use the water blade to dry most of the car before drying with this towl. I'm very careful when I use the water blade to not get anything traped between it and the paint.

Here's the towl link...

Big Blue Drying Towl II

Yes I have had one for two years. Now I own three. I can dry my suburban with two w/o wringing them out. I wash it with other MF cloths in hot water and it is good as new. Outstanding product.

I remove most of the water with a CWB then follow up with a waffle weave (not big blue but Autofiber's version). The best drying combo I've ever used.

Big Blue is the only way to dry :xyxthumbs . I have three for myself and have bought one for several family members. I really want to try the Big Blue II, wondering how much of a difference the 70/30 blend makes.

Here's a tip if you aren't already doing it....for your final rinse, remove the nozzle from the hose and let the water sheet off. Really makes a big difference in the amount of water you have to dry.

I have used the original big and little blue towel for some time now.

It is fantastic. I can do my WHOLE car bone dry without wringing it out.

Since my car has a good coat of wax on it and I do a free flow rinse, much of the water is already gone from the car. It is nice and soft and I haven't had an issue with marring.

As far as cleaning, I wash with ZERO detergent in cold water and tumble dry low and then switch to air dry.

I don't use detergent (sometimes a tablespoon) because the towel is completely clean. Since I am using it to dry, I like to make sure there is no residue.

It has worked great. I also have the Pinncale drying towels that are very similar.
