Anybody use a 3 or 4" pad ALL the time?

I just did my truck with only 4" pads and to my surprise... it was just as fast, if not faster than doing it with the typical 6" pads.

I could also get into small places without taking my hands off the PC.

The 4" is also more effecient, so you spend less time on the particular place... and you can concentrate on the section that needs it more.

Less vibration.

More precise and more control over my work.

I don't use small spot pads ALL the time, but a good 95% of the time I do. There have been some issues of not being able to reach underneith mirrors with small pads that I've had.

My 4" pads seem to vibrate more than my 6.5" for some odd reason. But I prefer to use 4" pads because they're just more quicker in a sense. It might take longer to do the overall car, but I'll get it done much more efficently.

My machine also vibrates more with the 4" pads compared to the 7". I've never used 4" pads for the entire car, but I probably will when I polish my car this spring.
