Any suggestions for ink removal?

Hi,



Does anyone have any tips for removing ball-point pen ink? It's located on the corner column that goes from the ceiling to the dash. It feels like a soft, plastic material. The mark is not from an erasable pen, but I still thought of trying to use an eraser. I'm just wary of doing that and actually rubbing the ink in, thus making it more difficult to ultimately remove. Any suggestions?
