Any special treatment for Kia paint?

My first experience with an Asian car is a 2005 Kia Rio. Paint is silver metallic. Overall the paint looks good but there are a few minor scratches. Is the Asian paint softer or harder than domestic cars? I have limited experience on non- US cars.

I use a 7424 polisher and usually Meguir products. Any recommendations for me?

I understand your question, but I think it is loaded to a certain extent. I have had domestic cars (GM) with very hard clear and I have had a few with soft clear. I have also had some Dodge and Ford's with very hard clear and again some with soft clear. I can honestly say that for the most part, the foreign (excluding Audi, BMW, etc), but Nissan, Honda, etc. generally have softer clears. I believe KIA is actually made by Hyundai, and all Hyundai's that I have done have had soft clear and corrected quite easily. I have never actually done a KIA before, but you have to keep in mind that clears can vary in hardness even on the same make/model cars.
