Im thinking about trading in the truck on a Charger Scat Pack as a DD. For those that own (or a SRT) how is it driving from day to day? Have you drove it in bad weather, how did it fare?

I can't say I've owned one but I have friends. I like the car and it is reliable but my one gripe is visibility, it's very off in that car and it's some what of a serious concern as a DD. Just my two cents, other wise great machine.

I don't think it could be worse than a 5th gen Camaro which I've owned as a DD for a little while LOL. That was horrible BUT you do get used to it...

^ I drove that car!! :D

I think it would be an amazing DD. It seems much bigger and more comfortable than a 5th gen camaro. I could see myself logging some serious miles in those big comfy seats. And Ron's right, the gas pedal just needs a tap and it feels like it's ready to launch. But the suspension is amazing. I'm more of a sedan guy myself, so if I was going to consider a DD I'd go with the Charger. But it gets 5 stars from me.

Same platform

challenger = sportier
charger = 4 door

Funny part about it, is that my Durango is on the same platform as well.

Just checking to see if something went over my old head. I had a Lady once tell me that she bought a Charger because the Challenger was to big. I do not really see that but to each their own.

Agree with Ron. I went to the LA Autoshow last week and sat in both. The interior in both is pretty much the same on both. The red charger did look good on display.

I drove the previous gen as a rental car when I was doing some local business traveling and it drove well considering it was a V6. I'm sure the new model is even nicer and drives even better.

It definitely is more big appearing and feeling since the body goes higher and wraps like a Camaro. And mebbe 2 v 4 doors
