Any pros tried services like rightlook?

I was curious if any of you pros have considered or know of anyone who has a full mobile service(paintless dent repair, interior repair, chip repair,etc...) like the ones on rightlook.com? I looked at something similar awhile back and always thought it was a good idea. Was wondering why no one else seems to have jumped on this.

I have met the guys and gals from Rightlook at a couple of trade shows and they seem to run a tight ship. Very professional and appear to be a "one-stop shop" for everything you could want for your detailing business. Expensive? It's all relative I guess. How much time would you save by getting all your supplies in one place as opposed to spending extra time running to a bunch of different places? It all depends on how you look at it - they have to make money too right? I ordered some plastic floormats from them in the past and the service was top notch but because of the weight of the product and getting it across the border I had to look for someone a little closer.

I've seen their ads for years, but I started on a shoestring budget, not 100% sure at the time about staying in detailing. I just wasn't willing to make that kind of investment. Looking back, I am glad I didn't. I'm not locked into one certain way of working or product choice.

I understand about the detailing part. But what really keeps me interested is the mobile paintless dent repair. this seems like a moneymaker to me ecspecially after hail storms.

I actually haven't looked into the rightlook system, but the one I looked at you could choose which service you wanted to buy or you could buy the whole thing. It was only a few thousand for the training and equiptment for the PDR. It just seems like you could make that back in 1year or less. Although I didn't get far enough into the details to see if there were any franchise fees or other fees but from the outside it didn't seem that way.

Just bear in mind that PDR classes are not cheap and it may take a year or more to be proficient enough at it to make money off it.

One of these days I need to learn windshield repair. $25-35 a pop and 10 minutes of work 2-5 times a week is a nice side income.
