Any Outdoorsmen/Bowhunters?

Any of you guys spend time in the woods? I'm almost 25 and I've been fishing since I was a kid, and I just started bowhunting in Sept '08. Took a big Doe during my first bowhunt on Oct 7 '08... Then spent the remainder of the season (ended Dec 24) waiting for a buck in a treestand in -20C weather. Unfortunately it never paid off, but my buddy and I know there's atleast one huge buck hanging around the area, judging from the sign on the trees (huge, deep rubs). Hopefully we'll get him next season.



I'd like to hear from any of you who share my interest in the outdoor world.
 
^HAHA I hear ya, man. I have a baby on the way. My first year of hunting might also have been my last! lol



Jokes aside, my girlfriend loves to go fishing, so that's nice, but I keep bugging her about getting into bowhunting or atleast practice shooting with me but I don't see her budging on that subject.



I love spending time in the woods scouting for whitetail or even just hiking. You never know what you might come accross in the wilderness. It's never boring, that's forsure.
 
My family is HUGE into hunting, uncle is even in boone and crocket (sp?) for elk or something (not sure if thats a big deal but he thought it was). I used to hunt as a kid with them and best memory was drawing on a HUGE elk then buckling at the knees hahahaha. I got hammered back at camp for that one...I was a kid though come on lol...elk deer bear moose you name is bow rifle...also HUGE into fishing...Gotta love the great northwest!
 
Not into hunting but love fishing. It's prime Walleye fishing right now. Caught a 14 pounder a couple years ago, but haven't been out yet this year, too busy.
