Any one watch American Idol?

I gotta admit I hate this show, but until last week I had never viewed the early episodes. This show cracks me up, I cannot belive I missed three seasons of the early episodes. They are hilarious, I dont like the later episodes where its the group competition starts, but give the early ones a chance, good entertainment!
 
I watched a bit of the first season and a few auditions from the second and third. Auditions are the only reason to watch it.
 
The early episodes are the only ones I watch, but now people are trying to get on to be bad. The first two years, they thought they were good, which was what made it so wonderfully pathetic.

Exactly. I don't make plans to watch them, but if I'm flipping through the channels and an audition episode is on...I'll watch.

And laugh.



I agree that the shows are losing my interest when you see people come on just to be on TV who know that they suck at singing already.
 
I think its all retarded. I have a few select shows that I like to watch, and other than that my tv stays on either the history or discovery channel.



Movies, on the other hand, I love. I am a movie junkie!



Now that I've slammed American Idol, I think I may watch this one only because it was shot here in New Orleans, and I remember when all of this was taking place over a year ago.
 
I watched the early episodes of the first two seasons... I've lost interest though. You can tell people are coming on there knowing the can't sing.



The only show I watch regularly on TV is the Daily Show. Other shows I watch as often as I can are Futurama, Family Guy, Simpsons, and King of the Hill.

yea, i tend to watch some american idol when i have some free time. my mom and did like to watch that a lot, my mom especially. she cracks up at everything. its really funny watching the auditions, and it gets sorta boring because its the same ole' thing over and over. but then theres always a couple of singers that stand out and are worth watching. us kids tend to talk about now and then. also, if theres a hawaii person in there, its like the news here is all over it, and try to get lots of people to support the person.
 
If I'm flipping around and nothing else good is on, then I watch it. The auditions are good sometimes but the competition isn't really that interesting. I usually just watch the last episode to see who won...
