I am an avid do-it-yourselfer when it comes to detailing, but want some expert advice/help on my car, a 2006 Grand Cherokee SRT8, anyone in the area?
 
I was wondering the same thing. I am in Hicksville and am having a hard time getting the results that I want from my process. Maybe my expectations are just too unrealistic (for my experience level).
 
I service Long Island on 2 weekends out of the month. Please contact me for more details as I can't post any commercial info on DC. Thanks.
 
Why not come down to cruise night in Oyster Bay? It starts about 5 PM, Audrey Avenue, $3.00 entrance fee. I'm always there with my white El Camino as are many others who may help.

Im a long islander (Huntington/Melville area)... although Im a newbie.. especially with a PC.
Would be nice to start a little gathering of locals to help each other with techniques/product..... Although whoever "hosted" would need a LARGE house/garage and a few of water spickets....

I think that's a great idea!! It's always more fun to hang around people who share your passions. They say that Apple computers started in a garage, who knows what could happen when a handful of carnuts get together to detail???
 
Oh Jen.... in a month we'll all be complaining about the cold weather and you'll be in Florida.... stay off our thread.... lol!!!! :-)
