Any feedback about the Professional Detailing Technician Association

I did a search on here and elsewhere about the Professional Detailing Technician Association and I found alot of old posts. But, I was just wondering if any of my fellow colleagues have any updated views about this association? I'm interested in joining, but there's not really alot of information and feedback about the organization. :nixweiss

AJ why don't you visit the forum over there and chat with other members , I'm sure you'll find that more helpful in making the choice whether or not to join .

AJ,

We voted this week (the Board) to hold a new election as we have identified key points that need addressing for the Association to succeed. There will most likely be some new faces on the Board within a month or so that are known quite well within the detailing community.

I know that a drive for membership is on. The key of our association is to work on issues such as insurance, health coverage (group buying power), but also to educate the public and help this occupation's view by the public. The idea of certification as also been discussed. At $75 per year, I really don't understand why more professionals do not join when the benefits of simply meeting with the members far outways that cost. Some of these guys are suppliers and they don't simply sell. They educate and give sound business advice after being around longer than some of us have been alive!

Check it out and send Jim H. an email.

Thanks, Rob Regan
