any difference between 3M P-II and P-III?

hey every1,

I just picked up a bottle of 3M P-III compound, and i come home and read the details, and theyre exactly the same as my small bottle of 3M P-II medium cut. Did i buy the same product with a new improved label on it? And if so, should i go back and buy P-II Fine cut as the 2nd step after the P-II medium? plmk

While the INGREDIENTS might be the same, the formulation is different. I'm ASSUMING you got the PI-III pn 05933. That will work OK after your Medium Cut (see my reply to your other post). But get some cutting pads or you're gonna be wasting your time. Those Griot's orange pads will NOT remove what you want them to.
