Any comments on Poorboys QD+ Quick Detailer Plus

Any comments or reviews ?

Looks like it has a lot of wax in it. I tried on a small area and it added more shine to three coats of ZFX+Z2. Can't wait to try on top of S100.

Because it contains wax I'm thinking it will be a problem between multiple coats of Klasse SG.

And it's not so "Quick". Have to buff off, dried to a haze.

Tried search but it won't take three characters (QD+).

Thanks

I think it works well, but I use it as a spray wax, rather than a qd. It has some mild cleaners in it, but they don't seem strong enough for me to be fully comfortable using it on a dusty surface. Also, I got white spray residue all over when I first tried using it as a qd. It "floats" around a fair bit. I have had much better success using it after a wash and spraying it on the mf, applying it over the whole car, and then wiping it off. Basically the same as a quick wax. Dries fast, wipes off easily/quickly. I've found that it hides cobwebs, deepens the paint color, leaves a nice glassy look, and beads water like crazy!

Be sure to shake it well.

So far there are 2 versions. The second has the mild cleaners in it. There is to be a third version out next year (VOC regulations and all that).

I have it and like it a lot. It's very easy to use if you spray it on a towel and then apply to the finish. Once dry(even in direct sun) it wipes off easy. I use this for customers that would like a wash and wax.

Do you use it instead of a wax ?

Wash and QD+ only ?

got a response from Poorboys. Said QD+ has mild cleaners that will take off a little of the wax already on. But then it applies it's own.

Not what I want in a QD. But QD+ is great for those that want a quick wax.
