Have heard alot of   about AW.

AW is a spray sealant...so will it bond over a wax surface?.

( heard that sealant over wax is a no-go issue)

Expert please advice.

Thanks

I have not had any issues with it bonding. I have topped Max Wax, SigSeriesII, collinite 845, Natty Blue and P21S with AW, and they all looked great (better the next day once AW cured).

I have aquawax over nattys blue and it is still beading after 2.5+ months, that is with the endless showers and rain storms we have had over the 1.5 months here in Texas.

Personally I wouldn't use it until after a first wash. In other words, I see people thinking of it as part of the process, but with the residue left by many lsps, especially IW 845, best to give it some time and a wash first.

Yea, DG AW is a spray wax. It is also used as a toppers/refreshers for sealants and waxes.

I assume you use this after each wash. How many times can you do an entire car with each bottle?

Thanks,

I saw some at the local CarQuest and almost purchased a bottle but was concerned about how many details it could do. My wheel cleaner goes fast....I also saw 101 but not 105.

Technically Aquawax is a spray sealant. Use it after each wash to maintain the LSP, and you will be more than impressed. And for 5.99, it beats out things like Crystal Mist and other QD/Spray Wax/Spray sealants in the price dept.

I use mine weekly and have been on one bottle since Feb (also using it on customer cars). I have another one ready to go, since this one is nearing the end. But 5 months is pretty impressive for one of the more commonly used items in my cabinets.

r u talking about the DG AW??? if right, I thought DG AW is a spray wax.

Saw from a webby mentioned it is a synthetic sealant spray with the gloss of a wax, which make me wondering whether it can be lay over a wax surface.

Seems like not a issue at all:dance

9966 I think you'll find a lot of ppl here talking out of their rear ends with replies on this thread. The reality of this matter is that nobody here knows whether or not the AW bonds "OVER" the current remaining lsp, or if it removes/replaces it when you apply, and you're just seeing the results of that most recent AW application. I personally think its a pipe dream that people on this site believe products will 'layer' like sheets of paper on top of each other and use products as 'toppers'.. Nothing more than good marketing or misguided good intentions in my opinion. If layering were truly possible, it would build up to the point you could eventually scrape it away with your fingernail with enough layers..Anyway AW is a great product, but I don't think that one should consider it as an addition to current protection, just an easy to apply lsp.
