Need rubber?!?!?

Was that rubber in the wheel wells??!!
How did you "remove" it? Putty knife or plastic razor blades?

I also see you are one of the detailers who uses LATA, meaning L.A. Totally Awesome; as in the "inexpensive" All-Purpose cleaner that you can buy over the counter at any Dollar General store, for degreasing wheel wells and engine compartments. I am not dissing you; hey if it works and its "cost-effective" for you, use it. Just wondering how it compares to Optimum`s Power Clean or Meg`s Detailer Line M108 Super Degreaser.

You really brought back that deep red color, outstanding work! Car looks really great, I remember when the Terminator first came out and they were getting 550-600 HP out of them, which at the time was insane. Now, that would be considered on the low end on the streets! Crazy!

Thanks everyone! Definitely enjoyed doing this car!

And yes that rubber is from both rear wells. It was old and dry and was able to come off mainly by rubbing my hand over it. One side I was able to peel off big sheets of it lol.

As for the LATA. Yes I switched to it for wheel wells, and heavy degreasing. I used to use the green Meguiars degreaser/APC. It worked well but just not cost effective for the amount of vehicles I do.

One gal of straight LATA cost me 4$ or what usually do is mix it 50/50 so a gallon cost me 2$. For the few areas I use it, it works. I don`t use APC on interiors unless it`s a rare occasion. Mainly use Mckees total interior cleaner and steam.

Great work! I wish I could buy LATA by the gallon in Canada! In fact, they`ve only been selling the orange version lately and I don`t like it as much. You`ve got me inspired to work on a black Mustang this weekend!
