Another T.O. Quickie

Customer is going to be upgrading to a Lexus IS250 and simply wanted his "trade in" to look acceptable.

The paint had all kinds of embedded particles and needed claying in a big way, but of course there was no time.

It has numerous swirls, scratches around the bumpers and lower ends all of which there was no time to really work on.

With my luck as of late as of late, I seem to be getting all the time deficient customers. :wall

So a quick wash, vaccuum and wax and out they went.

The joy I did manage to salvage was cracking out my Optimum stuff. I just love OCW. As it really gave a nice glow, but could not add slickness whatsover, as the paint was way to rough and needed to be clayed first.

Paint:

Opt No rinse Wash

Opt Car Wax

Interior:

Poorboys Leather/Vinyl Stuff

Quick Vaccuum of mats

Done the quick one step wash/waxes before. In those cases isn't it best to use a cleaner wax?

On another note, the ones with the really rough paint (like sandpaper) the paint sometimes tears up the foam applicator! :nervous2:

Sometimes you do what you have to do. At least it looks pretty good and with a trade in, that really is all you need. Besides, the dealer will let his guys tear it up pretty bad anyone. ;)
