When it comes to keeping a car clean, I take a lot of time to get it done right, but the problem is I don't know what products to use.

Albeit, my 1999 Cavi Z24 isn't the best car in the world, but I would like to keep the black as dark and polished as possible.

Right now i'm using Mother's california gold wash and wax. Is this stuff good?
If not any hints and helps would be great.

Finally, I am tired of the swirl marks on my car, can someone give me a good car polish brand.

Thanks for all the help.

Welcome fellow cavi owner! You will find out that detailing has a ton more to do that washing and waxing. know that preporation leading up until the wax is the key for that great shine. I would reccomend poorboys polishes as they are pretty user freindly and not expensive. To seriously remove defects you will want to read about the porter cable random orbit buffer. Black is a tough color to keep looking good but after some practice and the right product you will have a sweet looking paint. Like i said poorboys products are all very good so you can try looking there for some ideas.

Thanks very much! It is much appreciated, and I know black is a hard colour ut it just looks soooo good, until it rains. Poorboys it is!
