Another newbie question - ultimate shine for daily driver

Hi everybody, I am still fairly new to the whole detailing world. I love the shine of a properly cleaned car. Thus far, I have played around with the Mother's three step system years ago and gold class. For my old Jeep, I used Zaino. I loved the shine but did not like the fact that it did not hide any scratches (lack of proper prep).

Anyhow, I have a greystone metallic Pontiac GP (that is a dark metallic grey). Right now it is a "protective" coat of zaino on it. Problem is that Zaino is a bit old - no difference to the shine (Old as in like 5 years or so old). I live in the DC area and there is a lot of pollen in the air and it seems that zaino really attracts it. I don't like that as the car for now is parked outside.

What would you all recommend for products for the car? I am thinking of a something synthetic - at least for the winter time. Definately I want to try AIO. Not sure about the other part of the Klasse Twins.

After 5 years I would suspect there is not a lot of Zaino protecting the paint.

It might be a good idea to polish the paint to remove any defects and then apply the sealent of your choice. Zaino and Klasse are both good products but if you want an alterntaive, consider the Autoglym 'twins'.
