this site is great!!!
there is soo much info on this site, that it is a little confuseing !! heheh

I have 3 cars that i want to detail. I want a good starter kit for all three but dont know which one to get. i have an
1. brand new 05 acura TL
2. 00 Lexus RX300
3. 95 acura integra as my daily driver

i was thinking of getting the PC7424 cuz of all the good reviews it got plus it will save me alot of time. What wax and polish should i use with the pc7424? Do i need to polish my TL because it pretty new just got it two weeks ago.

any suggestion on what product or kit to get.

well you could get any kit but to me I like to get individual products because one company makes a better leather conditioner than it does wax , and so on. You'll save alittle money on buying a kit and it'll get you started quick.

I've been detailing pro for 2 yrs and Poorboy's products always come thru for me.

For the Acura check the paint for any contaiminants (sp) ? from sitting on the lot . Little specs of dirt or spots that won't come off . This could be industrial fallout , rail dust and debris , overspray from an adjioning shop at the dealers . What I'm trying to say is even if the cars still brand new with paper plates it could still need some work done . I'm recommending a paint sealant by PB's or 4Star for the TL so its a rule of thumb to remove any junk stuck in the clearcaot with a clay bar before sealing it.

You're other 2 vehicles will probably need claying as well . This step gives you awesome results and a clean slate to start polishing. PB's Polish w/ Carnuba is one of my favorite 1 step products . Good luck and keep reading and posting and you'll be a pro in no time..

Aloha

well since poorboy is having its sale this weekend than i think ill give them a try since they get pretty good reviews for everyone. plus i can save alittle bit of money. I will get the the PC7424 kit either from autopia or autogeek, dont DC memeber get 10% off at autogeek? Can someone list what i need to get from poorboys store for a complete detail. I also need tools and towels also cuz i dont know which one is good and would help me do the job alot easier.

thanks

Sorry but im still a little confuse about polishing my TL. Since it doesn't have many marks on it then afer wash and claying should i use a finishing pad with poorboy pro polish and do the whole car? does this process have any cutting action on my paint or clear coat? the thing im worried about is cutting into my clear coat. I just want to polish my new car to a shine and seal it up with sealant like PB EX-P (maybe 2-3 layers) and finish it up with wax.

sorry if i ask this question before but im still in the dark with this step and done want to damage my car.

thanks
