hello everyone! my name is richard. i'm new here but not to forums so yes i know how to read rules! i just recently found this site and haven't had a chance to get the feel for it yet, but i'm sure i will. i have taken the time to answer the questions in the "who are you sticky" below. i hope this site is a friendly and helpful place to be. i've only used products from meguiar's and car brite but that will soon change. anyway, i just wanted to say hi and introduce myself! thanks for reading!
1. How did you wind up at Autopia? searching for a review of a product
2. What do you like most about detailing? the finished product
3. What are your favorite products/processes and why? i like meguiars but i'm hoping that changes now that i have found this place
4. What's your dream car and why? i really can't narrow it to one
5. What's the best thing you learned on Autopia? so far, i have found more products than i have ever imagined!

7. Do you have any pets? If so, types, names, pics. now i only have 1 cat - storm, and 1 dog - tobee. we recently had to put down an 18 year old cat and a 4 year old cat

What was you first car and what got you interested in keeping cars perfect? my first car was a 1994 cavalier, handed down from my mom in 96. what got me interested? a girl i was dating asked me to take her friend home and when we got there her mom asked what i used on the car to make it shine, i said nothing, i just washed it. she said i don't think so because that is really shining. i just smiled! bright red car with meguiars gold class wax; hey it was big stuff to me in 1995!

12. Would you ever pay someone else to detail your car? no
13. Does detailing run in the family at all, or are you the only normal one? just me

15. If detailing is a hobby for you, would you like to do it full time, or do you feel that it would take the fun out of it? i did it full time for a car dealership and that's when i knew it was more than a hobby. i would give anything to have my own shop...
