I did my own car today, Subaru Impreza GT (called so in Belgium), 220 whp, modified heavily for trackdriving.
I even use semi slick Pirelli tyres for my daily use, more fun in the corners..LOL
Started on friday with a wash and clay :
On Saturday morning, serious work was done :
My car was heavily contaminated with tar spots, small scratches, spider webbing, dull spots, otherwise said : a mess. That's the price for taking it regulary out on ttrack, especially the 'Nurburgring.
I also used a spot sander from 3M for removing of fine scratches without having to sand a big part, I used it especially on the doorhandle surrounds and so... :
My car already did 70.000 miles, considering the abuse I give it from time to time, I even dare the challenge to compare it with a new one out of the showroom.
Aside from some halo's and scrachtes that are to deep to remove, it look's really dripping wet now.... :
Some previous pics :
This was one big experiment to try different pad/products combo's of items that I ordered in the last months.
I'm really pleased with Poorboys and Optimum products.
Also for interior (trim restore-natural look) are they my favorites.
AIO is great, works the same as SRP, the same can I said about SG and EGP....
For now, it look's good, but shouls I keep topping the Souveran or wait a few weeks and then do another Extra Gloss Protecton (or several layers of SG) + Souveran ?.
I also have Pinnacle Carnauba mist/OCW/NXT spray wax for weekly quick-wax jobs.
