wash with dawn

go over the car with Klasse AiO to remove any tar, sap, etc. (a bunch of spots!)

polish with 7424 & Menzerna FP II

wipe down with plush mf and distilled water/alcohol

use 7424 to apply AiO one panel at a time, wipe off

wipe on/wipe off a coat of Klasse SG

next morning another coat of SG

apply a coat of SG every 2 months or so, using the AiO to get any stains

I'm not good with pics, but imho it turned out well

paint was decent, minor wash/dry hazing, that's about it...

came out 8/10'ths +

no perfect, but serviceable :lol I consider it maintenance, like an oil change or chassis powerwash...

what model audi is that because it is sick!

How are the maintenance side of things on the Audi's?

2007 B7 RS4

thnx

the car is fast for a 4000 lb awd sedan, 420 HP V8, 90% torque from 2500 to 8000 redline

quattro is amazing, don't think I'll get a car without it again

maintenance isn't too bad

takes 9.5 qts oil for a change, every 5k miles

gets ~18-20 mpg overall avg, better on highway

brakes are expensive, 14.4" 8 piston Brembo/12.8" rear x-drilled & floating

I'll do them myself oem pasd $100 F & R, rotors are $$$, $1200 for all 4

I have 30k miles and just replaced pads, rotors are ~50%

tires are good for maybe 15k miles, but Conti SC3's are $1000/set

everything else is pretty much standard

it's got a 6yr/100k CPO warranty also

I've have M3's for the last ~20 years, and the last & first required valave adjustments...the Audi does not...

did the interior today

washed the leather with a mild solution of lexol soap and distilled water

lots of foam and scrubbing

wiped off with a rag rinsed & wrung out in distilled water

looked so good didn't want to treat it!

but did so with a bit of the new Mothers stuff, just a bit, wiped dry with a clean rag

very matte, non-greasy finish, look excellent

vacuumed

scrubbed the floormats, carpets, door jambs, pedals, kickplates, etc. with a mild solution of simple green

wiped all vinyl and headliner, etc., down with 1Z Einszett

used a foam brush for all the vents/etc.

used plexus on the instrument cluster

cleaned the glass well, stoners and mf rag

put a dab of oil on all the hinges

should be good for the summer with some regular basic cleaning
