Angry bird hates my truck!

We have this crazy robin around our house. Everytime my Discovery is out it goes crazy. First perching on the mirror, then clawing at the door rubber and paint. Finally a brutal assault on the glass. While also painting my mirrors white. All within minutes.
I come running out waving my arms and making all sorts of noises; to the dismay of my neighbors. (who don't see him) He/she then flys to the roof of the house to only come back and go after the pass. side.
Aside from shooting him or gluing a plastic owl to the hood. Has anyone had luck with scaring them away? I'm on the second week of this insanity.
The paint rubber and mirror are covered in ABIDS ( angry bird induced scratches)
My phone won't upload pictures from tapatalk.

A radio on my front porch keeps the swallows from building nests each spring. I have to leave it on for several days but they decide to build someplace quiet. Don't know if Robins have the same aversion to good music.

I'm thinking 12ga. pump. At least I'd be happy fixing the damage.

As long as you don't use buckshot, that is.... :lmfao

I used to own a Trailblazer SS that for whatever reason attracted bees and wasps like crazy. They built nests in both of the side view mirrors, the drivers side door jamb between the door and front fender, and in the jamb around the rear liftgate glass. Almost got stung more than once just getting in to drive the damn thing. :wall

Never did find a solution, I traded it in on my current truck back in the summer of '08 and never looked back. Between the bees and the 11 MPG on what at the time was $4.85/gal. 94 Octane gas I'd had enough regardless of how much fun it was to drive.

He's been back. I'm thinking of rolling the window down and once he's in going for a drive. However this could turn into a National Lampoon episode. ie(squirrel in Christmas tree)

I'm so tired of the rainy season here too. No detailing, no yard work. Trapped in the house!

We didn't get the heavy rain they forecast, but the high winds kept us awake most of the night.

We're just south of Dayton. We are soaked. Luckily I was able to pick up a car before this all hit.
At least its a longer project. The road to get it back though is under 3 feet of water for a 200 yard stretch.

Ouch... That's no fun!

When I get back home I have to check out my barn to make sure it hasn't flooded; I saw standing water in the side yard near it this morning when I left.

The problem now is, after all this the roads are going to have mud and dirt all over them.
After I'm done with this car I'll probably have to trailer it back. It has a racing clutch, 20in rear tires, near 600hp. Not the easiest to load and unload.
Edit my bad 14 in wide street on it, track tires are 20"
