Angelwax in the US

I see that Angelwax is now available in the US. I was thinking of giving their Bilberry Wheel Wax a try and one of the Angelwax "bodywork" waxes, either Angelwax Fifth Element (because Mila Jovovich...), Enigma Ceramic or Ag (one of my cars is silver). I would pick the small size tubs to keep the cost down.

Two questions:
1. Any thoughts on the products overall? I`m generally using Griot`s stuff at the moment.
2. Any thoughts on the wax selections above?

Thanks!

I have a few of their products. Bilberry Wheel Cleaner, Ti22 spray sealant, and Desirable wax. I haven`t touched any of them yet lol.

Fast foam is great, leaves nothing behind from what I can tell. Cleanliness was only OK, much better options out there. Ti-22 was also outstanding, super easy to use. Enigma is gorgeous, but a little finicky to work. Absolution is good, I`ve been mostly using it on vinyl as I have other carpet and upholstery cleaners, but I did use it on some dog drool on alcantara and it did fine. AnGel had quickly become my favorite interior dressing , darken the finish with a matte look; getting the gel out of the bottle once it`s half gone becomes cumbersome

I tried the Billberry wheel cleaner (Concentrate diluted at 1:4, not RTU) this past weekend and was very happy with it! Really cut through the brake dust, dirt, and grime. I tried just letting it dwell and no agitation and it was pretty good at releasing all the bad stuff when I followed up with the pressure washer after letting it dwell for a few minutes.

I bought a sample of The Fifth Element to try which is supposed to have some ceramic component as well according to the site (its supposed to be friendly over ceramic coatings and bare paint), fast foam, and some samples of their compound, medium polish, and finish polish which are DAT, just to try.

Man oh man..do we seriously need yet another line of products?????

I`m still trying to get over the Jay Leno brand...

Haha saaame. I just stick to megs for workhorse and when I want to make it premium and sexy use Swissvax stuff. Really though I`m trying to avoid filling up space and hauling a bunch of crap around in my little Camry when I go Detail

In this case it is new to the US but not a new product-line. Whereas Mr Leno`s is new and maybe just rebadged something else?

Lol i believe they have been around for many years in Europe. Since mid 2000. Pretty new to the north American market.

Yup if you look at the reviews of their products on detailworld UK they have a pretty strong following. Ti22 sealant spray and their waxes get great reviews.

It`s Adams. Someone said they had a sponge or something that was exactly the same, and a few others said the products are the same. Chemical guys = Adams = Jay Lenos

Reminds me I got a sample of Wolfgang leather conditioning and it`s the same as pinnacle. They might be the same product.

This is the Adam`s New Car Wash Wedge.

Looks pretty similar to the Lake Country Wash Wedge.

except I believe Adams has been around before chemical guys. And of course Wolfgang and pinnacle are going to be close, they have the same parent company, PBMG. Leno seems to be from Adams as they have almost the same address, and share the same foam block.

Oh that`s what it was. They have the same foam block and close adress. I bet they are the same thing.

I just had a hunch about Adams because they have a lot of the same products like "butter wet wax" and "buttery wax" and such.

Meh... I`ve been following this line for a few years on EU forums. I`ve never actually used any of their products & actually considered ordering one of their waxes from the U.K. at one point... I`m sure they make quality stuff.

That being said, its mostly the same boutique type stuff that a bunch of other people sold here.... Remember Wolfs? Remember Muc-Off? Remember Auto Finesse? All the latest and greatest from Europe...

IMHO, if you are going to be successful here from overseas - you have to bring something UNIQUE to the table, like Polish Angel, Car Pro, Rupes, Dodo Juice (brilliant marketing) etc...

Bilt Hamber may be able to make a success of it, but not this stuff

For the AW type stuff - I`ll just stick to Pinnacle / BlackFire etc...
