It's been a while since i posted up a job, this time its my cousin's brand new 2010 Mercedes Benz C300 Sport. I actually went with her to pickup the car and the paint didnt look bad at all. So i told her to swing by one morning and i would baptize the new car with a proper wash and wax.

So everything started well. I foamed up the car with some maxi suds to lift some dirt and the usual. I then hand washed the car with CG CWC to get rid of any sealant or wax the dealership could have used. This is where my whole day was just crushed. WARNING the defects seen below are almost unacceptable on a benz. I took pictures of only some parts of the car.

Also sorry for the lack of pictures my camera's card got messed up somehow and some pictures were corrupted, these are the ones i managed to save.

Only some parts of the trunk and back bumper had paint correction done as my cousin had to be somewhere. We agreed I would have to work on the car at a later date with more time to correct all the damage. I suspect the dealership used some type of glaze on the car as I didnt see the scratches or defects on the day of delivery (also it was rainy) After pulling the car out and taking pictures I realized the hood had buffer trails and swirl marks :hairpull

I was so upset when i saw this. I think seeing that ruined the whole detail for me. :wall

but anyways life goes on ill fix all of that some other day. for now enjoy the sleekness and wet look from the Rainforest Rub :up

If your cousin purchased this car BRAND new then I cannot believe the defects in the paint when coming straight from Mercedes Benz, sad. But the car looks great in other respects! I love the C-Class. Nice work!

how many miles did it have when it was purchased?

long story short she got a nicely priced deal because one of the salesmen had been using it as his personal car for a while. at first they had told her it had 700 miles on it. 2 days later it magically had 800 :hm sketchy dealership if u ask me. either way they did a hack job on the paint and im going to have to wetsand the defective areas and correct all the swirls and RIDs another day.

Better question would be, did she like the results!

she loved it! she texted me later saying she had seen another black c300 driving next to her and it looked so dull and old compared to hers

yeh i should rephrase it wasnt BRAND new it was new with 800 miles lol

After seeing those defects, I would have immediately went to the dealership and demand another car.

You did a great job BTW.
