i dont post here much anymore, but like a yr ago "wolfgang" was the product of the month and everyone used it for a few months nonstop then stopped talking about it.



anyway, i traded some souveran for the WG sealant and pre-cleaner. the WG is pretty easy to use, really easy to use actually. Apperance is similar to EX-P. I applied the precleaner with a white pad and the sealant with a black pad via PC @ 3.

I'm an absolute Wolfgang enthusiast! I use it on my Mach 1 show car and my bride's daily driver. It's one of the easiest to apply/remove and absolutely jumps when you add a top coat of Souveran.



I think WG just got quiet and out of the spotlight with all the new stuff that's out there. But I'm also sure there are many Autopians that have it in their arsenal.

I got some Wolfgang when it first came out and was alittle disappointed. I used it on silver and found that it had more of a muted carnuaba look when compared to other sealants out their like EX-P, NXT, or UPP.

WG was intended to mimic the look of carnuba. I like it on dark colors, but it also is not the longest lasting sealant. Right now I'm at a crossroads with this product. Since I don't mind waxing my red baby often I wonder shoulcd I stay with my carnuba or get that little extra protection from WG. I'm not a big fan of using it on my lighter color cars since I like to use a product with a light cleaner like #21 or AIO. Oh well WG is a nice product.
 
I still use it occasionally on dark colors. I just have so many LSPs to chose from. My younger son insisted on taking back the opened bottles of Wofgang I had back with him. Said it is easy to use and he likes how it looks. I kept my full bottles though. ;)
 
I am so glad I didn't buy WG. I got it free during the Autogeek giveaway. One of the worst sealants I have used in a while. Durability and looks were horrible to say the least.
 
Cant comment on the durability but I still keep going back to it time and time again on my black car looks wise. On metallic black WG and UPP are the only two sealants that have not muted the small metallic flake in the paint. It does give a dark wet look, but one that is also glossy and clear. It gives a different look to EX with Carnuba which gives a softer deeper look to it. I like that look on my car to, but it is a shame the flake gets lost.



WG sits in between UPP and EX in the looks department for me. It does not quite give a total carnuba look IMO.



On lighter colours I go with UPP, EX-p or 21. But for my own car I am going back to WG.

nothing really major, i just like how Autopia used to be a couple yrs ago compared to how it is now. I still read the forums from time to time but rarely post
 
LJ-out of curiosity how would you compare WG to TC-3 looks wise? I find that TC-3 looks like a super glossy version of #26 with incredible metallic pop.

Have you tried NXT on your car? I ask because the pic reminds me of the vitreous look NXT sometimes produces. Then again, it may be just the camera shot.

I have used both NXT and #21 neither have allowed the flake to pop as the WG does or UPP do.



Both tended to darken the paint akin to EX IMO.
