Good Day,
I have a 93 Mustang LX; they call the color electric red. From a distance the car doesn't look bad at all for a 1993 paint job. I started polishing it today with a PC and some fine cut cleaner from meguires on a glazing pad; then moved to a polishing pad with the fine cut to see if it looked any different. Well, I wasn't really happy with the fact that I can still see what appears to be a light haze as well as what I am sure is probably older water spots or something. I have some #1 medium cut cleaner but this says it is only to be used by a rotary and I do not own a rotary nor am I experienced with one. I am just not too sure how crazy to try to get with the car being that it is 13 years old with the original paint excluding the driver's side. It has new paint (3 yrs) old. I have wondered about attempting to wet sand but worry with the paint/clear being that old if I might be going to cause myself more headache than it's worth. This is a daily driven car that sits in the weather 100% of the time. I can post pics of it if that would make it easier however I am thinking that I won't be able to get the haze I am talking about to show up in the pictures. The obvious easy answer would be to have it painted but that isn't in the budget and it doesn't make it go any faster
!
Thanks for any and all advice.
Eric
