Am I wasting product

I was bored last weekend and decided to see what would happen. I took some QEW and then mixed it into a spray bottle. I say about 1/8 of inch to the rest of the bottle of water. Sprayed down the car, then rinsed on the mist setting on the hose. I notice a lot of the dirt washed off. I did a reg car wash afterwards just to be sure. I thinking maybe this way I am reducing the chance of large dirt scratching the car and making the mit dirty. (Sometimes no matter how hard I clean it, it still a little dirty). I didn't use very much of the bottle. I think I still have about 3/4 of the spray bottle left. Am i wasting QEW or Car soap. Anybody else tried this?

I've tried this a few times, but I really can't see that

it was of any help.



If I am doing a QEW wash, I tend to pretreat the area

with PB S&W, let it sit for a few seconds, then come

over it with the QEW. I find that doing it this was

increases lubrication, and the S&W actually helps

loosen and/ or emulsify the dirt.



If I am doing a really dirty car, I'll do a pre-treat with the

S&W, then wash the car down with a QEW/ S&W mix. Very

slick feeling wash.
