Am I wasting my time calling Meguiars/Eagle One customer service

Man I had two products fail on me the other day. First was an Eagle one tire swipe seperated at the yellow and foam, it was brand new first timed used. I have been using these for years with no problems and love em'. Second was I bought 4 of the new Meguiars GC microfiber app. pads and washed them first on one the stitching on the seam is coming apart and has a two inch gap. I know these are cheap items but for what they are they are exspensive if you know what I mean.

So will calling the customer service be a waste of time?

Actually take the swipe back to the place of purchase with receipt. They should be able to rectify the swipe problem.

EO has always been responsive to my inquiries. :xyxthumbs

Bought a package of two a month or so ago of the swipes paid cash tossed receipt, never had a problem with them in the 5 years + I've used them. Trust me I wish I was pack rat and saved every receipt, no scratch that my wife keeps everything and I complain

about it:D .

Give them both a call , you don't have anything to loose. I had one of those EO swipes do the same thing to me , I think it was the product I used more then the pad . TOL grape tire dressing is what I was using at the time when it happen .

Funny you say that this was my first time using Poorboys Bold N Bright, I had been using Z-16 previoulsy. But BnB is water based from I understand TOL's grape is solvent based if I remember correctly.

I think it has more to do with the tire than the dressing. I had one that I used on smooth tires for 2 months, still in good shape. Did a Jeep Grand Cherokee with tires that were ribbed + RWL, ruined the swipe after the 3rd tire.
