I just got the PC 7336SP, I havent gotten around to buying any accessories so all i have is the white pad that was included.

I purchased some mothers cleaner wax(the only thing I could find

I was sooo anxious to try out the pc)

I applied the cleaner to the pad and beind to move in a back and forth motion. The back of the bottle says tolet it dry to a haze and

then buff off.

How long to a work it into the paint before I stop and let it

dry? Or do I keep buffing until its gone?

Any tips?

i'm not an expert on the PC so i'm not entirely sure. Though the cleaner wax is a wax more than a polish. With a polish you'd want to rub it in till it disappears, with the cleaner wax you want to rub it in a little.. not to much... then let it dry and haze. When i wax i usually let it sit for at least an hour.. more if i have time just to be safe. I'd say just go over each spot a couple times with the PC (2-3 should be ok) then let the wax dry and haze. though I've never applied wax with a PC... so if i'm wrong someone please correct me.

There's been a TON of info written about PC usage. I suggest doing some searching for it. Geekysteve wrote an excellent procedures post about PC's recently.

In a nutshell, there is no easy-to-offer advice about PC usage since every car, every product, and every user are different. It really is best to experiment with different products, pads, speeds, and techniques until you get a feel for what works best with what product. Remember, its a learning curve.

Try learning technique first then try different pads and products. If you use all these variables at once you'll just get confused.

And don't worry too much - it's hard to screw up with a PC.

I have not applied a cleaner wax with the PC but I have applied it with my rotary. I use a finishing pad for applying it. Actually, the finsihing pads I have for my rotary are made by the same company that makes the pads that CMA sells for the PC.

I apply it directly to the pad and I run it on a low setting. Not sure what speed you'll wanna run your PC at though. I work it in making probably only two or three passes and then just make a pass to even it out on the surface. I go around the whole car with the buffer and don't buff it off. I wait until I have applied it to the whole car and then come back around and buff the residue off. I use cotton towels to buff. Really comes out nicely if you don't have enough time to polish and then wax.

I actually did a car like that yesterday. I'm working on getting the pictures resized and I'll get them posted. It really came out nicely.
